Present your child the opportunity to play in a group environment at an early stage of their musical education. Our ensembles are open to students of all ages and skill levels who study privately with the Conservatory as well as with outside teachers and want to enjoy playing a range of repertoire with other musical friends.
Combined with Foundation of Music classes that are essential to understand how music fits together and why sounds sound the way they do, students will gain self-confidence, a sense of accomplishment and expand their talent.
Except for the very beginners (Bach Ensemble), students will participate in one 60 minute ensemble playing along with one 45 or 60 minute Foundation of Music/Solfege group class per week on Saturdays.
A placement test is requested to place the student in the Mozart Chamber Music.
Regular attendance is expected. There will be no make-ups for student absences.
Music and notes will be provided to each student. It is the responsibility of the student to bring his/her instrument and materials to each rehearsal.
This level assumes no prior knowledge of a stringed instrument and requires no music background. Students will learn proper playing posture, beginning notes and rhythm.
Instruments are provided for these classes.
Session 2: 45 minutes | 10 weeks | $250 and Session 3: 45 minutes | 7 weeks | $175 Apply here!
