Miami Conservatory of Music is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) community school of music located in the heart of Coconut Grove. We are dedicated to providing high quality musical education to every individual who shares our love of music and assisting our most talented young children to reach their highest achievement. We wish to offer training to young deserving students, especially those who do not have the means to afford lessons. This is where people like you can help:
Your generosity, in any dollar amount, will go to our scholarship account. These funds are used solely to provide financial assistance to families in need with young students demonstrating exceptional talent. Financial aid is awarded after the requirements of specific documents, an audition and interview process, and is revised every semester. Awarded students receive music lessons on regular basis and must be able to perform the assigned program. Besides the performances provided through the conservatory, they must participate to master classes and competitions.
Students who have received this benefit have gone on to attend major universities, colleges, and music schools and some are today professional musicians. Your tax-deductible contribution to the Miami Conservatory of Music will profoundly impact the ability of music students to build the skills they will need to become independent, productive members of our community and of the world.
Besides cash, we accept musical instruments, CD’s, music books, sheet music and other items that we can use at the conservatory.
Miami Conservatory of Music cares about inclusion. If we discover a talented student in our midst, we never want financial obligations to hold them back. We need community support to allow us to always say “yes” to deserving and talented students.
So many of us already know how important music is in our busy lives. Yet, there are many young people for whom music IS their life. And without access to continued instruction and guidance, young people may never know music’s true purpose in their lives.
