Through service to others, students improve their self-esteem, develop a sense of responsibility, and develop sensitivity to the needs of others and the community as a whole.
The Miami Conservatory of Music (MCofM) offers students in high school opportunities to perform Community Service hours. Services offered are to help with office duties all year long, our spring Musical Theatre shows, and assist our counselors during the summer camps.
- Only hours volunteered after 8th grade graduation can be counted as community service hours.
- Community Service cannot be performed during school hours.
- Students must have in writing the approval of their parent(s) / legal guardian(s) before beginning their community service.
- No pay or material compensation may be received.
