Nicole has had a passion for music since childhood. From the age of 5 she has been performing in choruses, productions, bands and worship teams. She graduated from Florida International University in 2005 with Bachelors in Vocal Performance.

While completing her degree, Nicole began teaching private voice lessons at the Miami Conservatory of Music (MCofM), and quickly developed a love for music education. In 2005 she moved to Orlando, Florida, and began teaching full time; first K–8 general music at a private preparatory school, and later 6-8 Chorus at a public middle school. In 2009 she moved to South Carolina, where she became a mother and taught at her own successful private home studio.

In 2012, she found herself back home in Miami and rejoined the MCofM family as Professor of Voice and Director of Musical Theatre. Since 2012 she has developed a musical theatre program for students 5-18. Her vision and execution has been met with praise and yearly growth. Students are encouraged to come as they are and grow steadily in a fun and collaborative setting, where every student is important and has a chance to shine. The Musical Theatre program now has 5 levels, produces 5 shows annually and serves over a hundred students each week! Our shows from years past include “Princess and the Pea” (2012), “Cinderella Kids” (2013), “Seussical the Musical Jr.” (2014), “Aristocats Kids” (2015), “Annie Jr.” (2015), “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” (2016), “Into the Woods Jr.” (2016), “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” (2017), “Cinderella Kids” (2018), “Wizard of Oz” (2018),  “101 Dalmatians Kids” (2019), “Mary Poppins Jr” (2019) as well as many mini musicals. This year we enter our ninth season and will be producing “Seussical Kids” and “Disney’s Frozen Jr.”

Over the years, Nicole has taught thousands of students, and helped them build their confidence and reach their personal goals. Her students have made achievements from getting on the stage for the very first time, to even making it all the way to the Broadway stage! Whether her students wish for their music education to be for personal enrichment or for career dreams, she feels privileged and blessed to be a part of their journey and to make an imprint on their lives.
