Lisset, an experienced piano teacher with more than 20 years of practice, joined the Miami Conservatory of Music in 2007. She enjoys teaching and accompanying at the piano children and adults alike in all levels and also feels very comfortable teaching voice to the youngest ones. She holds an Associate in Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Escuela Nacional de Musica (ENA), Havana, Cuba, and a Graduate Studies Certificate in Music Education from Instituto Superior Pedagogico – Enrique Jose Varona, also from Havana, Cuba.

She started formal music studies at an early age in her native Cuba. By age 10, she had been already awarded several prices in local and national competitions, among them a Special Mention for “Best Interpretation of Cuban Music.” She had belonged to the studios of Professors Andrea Mesa, Ana Gloria Peñate, celebrated Cuban pianist Ignacio Pacheco, and famed Cuban pianist and composer Andres Allen.
