Lisandro Galarce was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1986.
His career as a musician started at the Beethoven Conservatory, run by the pianist Pia Sebastiani continuing at the National Music Conservatory “Carlos López Buchardo”, where he was trained by Professor María Teresa Criscuolo. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, specializing in Piano.
He has been a regular attendee, since 2010, at the Piano and Chamber Music Summer Academy in Konz, Germany, directed by Maestro Paul Trein. This program is only for invitation, and those are only for professional musicians with exceptional talent.
He has attended several Masterclasses, such as Edith Fischer’s Masterclass, María Teresa Criscuolo’s Masterclass on Oliver, Roger Muraro’s Masterclass, among others.
In 2011, he obtained a scholarship to participate in the 18th Summer Academy in Radolfzell, Germany, directed by Argentine pianist Carmen Piazzini.
He resided in Germany since 2013 until 2017, where he majored in Musicology (Musikwissenschaft) at the University of Freiburg.
He took advance training with Maestros Tibor Tsasz, Jens Hagen Wegner and Fernando Viani.
Lisandro has been committed to Chamber Music since a very early age when he performed in several Concerts in Argentina and Europe. Among others, he took stage at the International Festival of University Music (FIMU) in Belfort, France where he performed with his Chamber Music ensemble “Trío Sur” with works of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Astor Piazzolla.
He has been teaching music and piano for over ten years in different schools of music.
