Group Lessons consist of four or more students and are offered throughout the year. Most common classes are Keyboard Kids, String Sessions, Rock Band, Musical Theater, Intro to Acting, and new this year, Music Therapy for Autistic Children.

KEYBOARD KIDS

for total beginners (ages 5–9)
10- and 8-week sessions

Young children will learn the basics of music notation and rhythm, including ear training and listening skills, and playing familiar songs together, all to better understand music language and apply it to the piano or another instrument. We provide one keyboard per student for in-class instruction.

STRING KIDS

for beginners with no prior experience (ages 5–9)

This class is designed for students who have never played a string instrument before. They will learn proper playing posture, beginning notes, and rhythms. Instruments are provided for these classes.

INTRO TO ACTING

(from age 9)
10-week session

 Introduction to Acting is designed to offer students a dynamic, engaging introduction to theater training. It is intended for those who have never studied acting before or want to get back in touch with their creative impulses. Students will learn techniques to gain more self-confidence through the exploration of basic acting principles and the foundation of improvisation, will work on overcoming stage fright, improving focus, and concentration, and opening their imaginations to playing characters.

The session will culminate with a demonstration where students will share their experience with family and friends.
60 Minutes | 10 weeks | $350

ROCK BAND

Fall and Spring sessions

The Rock Band program is a great way for students to learn to play together in a fun and friendly environment and a great incentive to practice. We welcome guitarists, bassists, keyboardists/pianists, drummers, and lead singers who can play an instrument or not. Perform live at the end of the session!

A minimum of 2 years of experience on the instrument is required.

MUSICAL THEATRE

Theater gives the young people the tools and inspiration they need to go out and embrace our amazing world. Our classes allow students a chance to discover their individual talents and interests while exploring the basics of singing and acting in a safe and encouraging environment to feel relaxed and uninhibited, all essential to acting.
